Our “of the Olentangy” series aims to inform and engage our community with their regional watershed. These events are free and great for all ages.

Our next “Of the Olentangy” event is quickly approaching! You can catch “Owls of the Olentangy” with our good friend Blake Mathys, of Ohio Dominican University and the Central Ohio Owl Project (C.O.O.P.), on December 10th at 6:30 p.m. This event will be held virtually through Facebook Live. This event will also be recorded and archived on our Youtube Channel at…

Blake will be providing information on the C.O.O.P. initiative and is looking for folks willing to go out and check appropriate habitats for owls, then report sightings to the project. This training will explain the rationale and goals of the study and to provide information about the basic roosting biology of the owls and the best way to locate wintering owls
