Terradise to Cincinnati by Ocean Kayak

Ever since I was a boy growing up in the 1950’s and 60’s on the Olentangy River near Caledonia Ohio, I wondered where that river went. Oh, I knew it went to Columbus where it joined the Scioto and then south to Portsmouth where it joined the Ohio River.

But where did it really go? What turns and twists and problems would it present? Was it possible to float all the way to the Ohio River?

We’ll find out as we explore the Olentangy River (now generally known as the Whetstone River in Marion County), the Scioto and Ohio Rivers.
Come with me! Each date below is a link to the journal for that day.
